Message to graduands from Alumni Office

YOUR relationship with UCT doesn't end when you graduate; you become a UCT alumnus and a member of an alumni network that spans a wide spectrum of disciplines, both nationally and internationally.

Alumni Relations will keep you in touch with this network and create more opportunities for you to interact with others who share your alma mater.

Your first benefit as an UCT alumnus takes place when you collect your graduation gown. Each graduate will be given a free Internet start-up CD with 14 days free Internet access from M-Web.

Then, after graduation you can have a digital picture taken in the Leslie Building, and emailed to two addresses anywhere in the world, free of charge. All you have to do on graduation day is bring your own contact information and the addresses to whom you wish to send your picture and M-Web will do the rest.

No other university has yet offered this benefit.

Another first for the University is its range of smart Benefit Cards available to Alumni which offer fantastic discounts for travel and accommodation, including 15% at all Holiday Inns, as well as discounts at movies, shops, restaurants and much more.
