The UCT Partnership for a Sustainable Environment (PASE) currently has a number of initiatives underway to enable UCT researchers to provide detailed input to help shape PASE programmes and activities.
The Environment Task Team and the PASE co-ordinator, Anthea Fawcett, are keen to hear from the UCT community on individual and group research interests that relate to PASE's broad mandate to address research opportunities related to the environment and sustainable development issues.
You can now go directly to the PASE website to complete the PASE Scoping Survey - UCT Research Activities and to let PASE know about your research interests (current or potential). Go to
http://www.pase.uct.ac.za/survey/scoping.php).
If you are a research group, you can also participate in the Strategic Issues Survey - PASE and UCT Research Groups. This is a short questionnaire that you and your group can choose to complete by emailing PASE at pase@uct.ac.za for an electronic copy.
The aim is to develop a detailed overview of strategic, interdisciplinary research opportunities and existing research capacities that relate to the environment and sustainable development, which UCT can build upon and promote.
