Intervarsity and 175 celebrations

On Saturday, May 8, the FNB UCT side travels to the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch to take on the Maties in the first of the year's Intervarsity clashes. As UCT is celebrating its 175th anniversary as well this year, the Department of Communication and Development (DCD) will be spicing up the event by, among other things, carting a busload of alumni - the group may include a few household names - to the match, which kicks off at 16h30. UCT staff and students are also invited to make their way to Stellenbosch to support the UCT team and the university's anniversary celebrations on the day. DCD's Murray Steyn hints that there may be a couple of lovely prizes on offer to UCT students and staff who attend the match. So book your tickets now.
