Squash rivals in provincial games

Soyili Lusaseni and Gina Robinson, UCT's two top women squash players, steered Western Province to glory in the A section of the 2004 Jarvis Kaplan Cup, played in East London from July 11 to 16. WP A trumped sides from Gauteng, Northerns, Easterns, Eastern Province and KwaZulu-Natal to win its section. Two other UCT students, Marco Becker and Sean Haynes (son of UCT staffer Linda Haynes - see story on page three), also represented the province at the event. Becker and Haynes featured in the WP B side that finished as runners-up in the men's B section.
