Adieu for the year

This edition sees the last of the Monday Paper sports pages for the year. We want to congratulate all the players and teams for their achievements over the year. We remember well the rugby side beating Maties in the intervarsity, the men's hockey team snatching their fourth successive Western Province league, hockey player Liesel Dorothy being included in the women's hockey team that competed at the Athens Olympics, and the many other students - and staff - that made their mark this year. We also toast everyone nominated - winners and those who didn't pick up any silverware - for the university's sports awards. We'll see you around the sports arenas in 2005. And keep in touch.
