A winter welcome: Nizar Chahbani of the City University of New York (CUNY) tries to control the ball in some slippery conditions as UCT's Julia Rey (in white) moves in. The teams faced each other in a friendly at UCT on a rainy Sunday, July 30. The game formed part of CUNY's two-week goodwill tour of South Africa, during which they also hosted a training clinic for kids from local communities. Following their UCT match, the visitors travelled to Johannesburg for a game against Wits University. Oh yes, CUNY beat UCT 1-0 with a late goal.
