SRC 2007

The portfolios of 2007's SRC were allocated on Thursday, October 5, at a meeting in the Steve Biko Students' Union Building.

Under the watchful eye of chairperson Ludwe Mbhele (2006 Acting SRC President), the following portfolios were assigned:

Executive Portfolios:

President - Zuki Mqolomba
Vice-president (External) - Thami Ledwaba
Vice-president (Internal) - Simangaliso Vee Zikhali
Secretary-general - Dave Watson
Deputy secretary-general - Nathan Kabingesi
Treasurer - Vincent Chambati
Academic chair - Christopher Shilubane

The non-executive portfolios are:

Transformation co-ordinator - Lusanda Gwayi
Residences co-ordinator - Nadia Oshry
Day Houses co-ordinator - Zandile Zondi
Societies co-ordinator - Geordin Hill-Lewis
Sports and recreation co-ordinator - Lee Thaver
Media and communications co-ordinator - Shahnaaz Parker
Health, safety and security co-ordinator - Keran Boyd
Entertainment and fundraising co-ordinator - Ken Wang

The new SRC will take up their positions on November 1.
