On 20 August the Elections Office officially launched the Student Representative Council elections for 2007/2008.
Twenty of the 23 candidates introduced themselves to a group of vociferous students, explaining why they felt they should be voted onto the SRC.
The 23 will vie for 15 seats on the SRC.
The launch was followed by the first of five question-and-answer sessions, held at various residences.
Voting will take place from 27 to 31 August, and resources have been made available for the visually impaired and for online ballots.
