UCT academics attend SciFest Africa 2009

Dr Lester Davids and Dr Robea Ballo of the Dept of Human Biology were among those who took part in SciFest Africa 2009, which ran from 25 to 31 March in Grahamstown.

The duo ran an exhibit called Loving the Skin You're In, which dealt with topics such as wrinkles, grey hair, zits and tattoos. They also informed learners about the depigmenting disorder of vitiligo and about skin cancer prevention, and dispelled myths about albinism.
