UCT vice-chancellor Dr Max Price toasted student societies at a cocktail meet-and-greet at his Glenara residence on 19 April.

At the event, Price applauded the societies - representatives were present from the Green Campus Initiative, Habitat for Humanity, the Rural Support Network, Students for Law & Social Justice, the United Nations Association of South Africa, RAG, SHAWCO and UBUNYE - for their sterling development initiatives.

"We'd like to thank you all for the very important work you do," said Price.
