Celebrating African excellence at UCT Graduation April 2019

UCT Vice-Chancellor Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng encouraged graduates to become trailblazers in their fields when she addressed them at each of the 14 graduation ceremonies held during April.

More than 5 000 graduates celebrated the successful completion of their degrees at the ceremonies attended by approximately 14 000 friends and family members.
