The University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Centre for Extra-Mural Studies (CMS) has finalised its 2020 Summer School programme, and booking is now open for the courses, which will be hosted in the Kramer Law Building on middle campus from 6 to 25 January next year.
The three-week public education programme, open to everyone, irrespective of formal qualifications, offers a variety of short courses – from arts to history and science.
There are no examinations or certifications involved and the courses offered are for non-degree purposes. There may, however, be written or practical projects and reading required before course completion.
The aim of Summer School, located in the Development and Alumni Department, is to make UCT’s academic resources available and accessible to the public.
