Ben Nelson is founder and CEO of Minerva, an educational model that was established in 2011 with the goal of nurturing critical wisdom for the sake of the world. Since then, it has become the most selective university in the United States. Nelson has also developed a business to share Minerva's unique approach with other institutions.

Previously, Nelson served as CEO of Snapfish (2005–2010). He holds a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
