As universities re-evaluate their place and purpose within the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, UCT’s executive tabled the proposed vision 2030 framework, which is aimed at leading the change and “unleash human potential”.

Over a series of six staff engagements starting on July 28, UCT’s executive unpacked the proposed vision 2030 initiative, engaging with staff to hear their input. Staff from UCT’s Graduate School of Business, Communication and Marketing Department, Properties and Services, Commerce and the Finance Department were invited to the second engagement in the series.

These virtual roadshows presented the Vision 2030 framework conceptualised by over 100 participants, including UCT’s academic and professional, administrative support and service (PASS) staff. The Vision 2030 roadshows allowed all sectors of UCT staff to engage with the strategy, ask questions, give feedback and discuss practical solutions for achieving UCT’s Vision 2030.
