Prof Mosa Moshabela, the new Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Town (UCT) encourages all students to take an active role in the upcoming Student’s Representative Council (SRC) elections.
As the highest decision-making student body, the SRC represents your interests on key university committees, management, and governance structures. As a UCT student, you can make your voice heard by either nominating yourself or someone you trust.
The SRC nominations close on Friday, 23 August, and Faculty Council nominations close on Friday, 30 August.
Voting will take place from 16 to 20 September for SRC members; and from 25 to 27 September for Faculty Council members.
Remember, your vote counts! Your voice matters! Be counted!
