Transport arrangements for Professor Mayosi’s funeral

Dear students and colleagues

The University of Cape Town has made transport arrangements for staff and students to attend the funeral service of Professor Bongani Mayosi, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 4 August 2018 from 08:30 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).

Transport arrangements are as follows:

Upper Campus: North and South Stop
Depart North Stop at 07:20 and proceed to South Stop.
Depart South Stop for the CTICC at 07:30.

Middle and Lower Campus: Tugwell
Depart Tugwell for the CTICC at 07:20.

Health Sciences Campus (Anzio Road)
Depart at 07:15 and 07:20 for the CTICC.

Departure times from the CTICC
From 13:45 after the funeral.

Please note that buses might need to make multiple trips, depending on the number of people requiring transport.
