Double exhibition launch

Two new exhibitions were launched at The Centre for Curating the Archive at UCT's Michaelis School of Fine Art on 28 July. Homage is a portfolio of work paying tribute to Cecil Skotnes, who died in April 2009. Contributing artists include Willie Bester, William Kentridge and Professor Pippa Skotnes, Skotnes' daughter. All sales profits will go to the newly-founded Cecil Skotnes Scholarship for study at Michaelis. Also now open is Legacies of the Landscape, a selection of landscape prints from the Katrine Harries Print Cabinet. For more information, visit the centre's website.
