Shiny and new: The new Student Administration Building is already a busy site.
This notice perhaps applies more to returning students than the many thousands of first years, to whom everything on campus is new: there are two new buildings on the university's Middle Campus, situated just below the rugby fields.
The one of immediate interest - and already a hub of much student activity - is the shiny Student Administration Building, adjacent to the Kramer Law Building. This new building houses the Admissions Office, the Student Accommodation Office, Student Records, the Examinations and Doctoral Degrees Board Offices, the Office of the Deputy Registrar: Academic Administration, the Student Systems Support Offices, as well as the International Academic Programmes Office (IAPO), among others.
Please note that the Student Fees office is still located in the Kramer Law Building. There's also work being done on the Kramer Quad to make room for the Undergraduate Funding Office and Extra-Mural Studies, among other sections.
The second new building, found just below the Student Administration Building, is the one for the School of Economics. This building is still under construction, however, and completion is scheduled for 7 April this year.
