EBE statement of solidarity

The Faculty of Engineering & the Built Environment stands in solidarity with the students in their struggle for affordable higher education for all South Africans. We recognise that we are a public university and should be funded by the state. We are aware of the larger systemic problems facing students and commit ourselves to continue to address these issues to enable all students to graduate with a quality education, so that they can contribute positively to the challenges facing our society today.
