In remembrance: Siboniso Dlamini

Dear students and colleagues
It is with great sadness that I share news of the death of our student, Mr Siboniso Dlamini, who passed away recently. He was a first-year business science student and 25 years of age at the time of his death.
Mr Dlamini died off campus and the cause and exact circumstances of his death have not officially been established. An investigation by the South African Police Services is ongoing.
We have been in contact with his family and are offering our support to them. On behalf of the UCT community I extend our heartfelt condolences to Mr Dlamini’s family and friends, especially those who studied and lived with him at the Liesbeeck Gardens residence.
