The Free Education Planning Group will be entering the second week of engagement sessions ahead of the Fees Commission submission, in an attempt to consolidate an institutional position by engaging and debating the funding models identifies by the student research team. The research material is available on the UCT website.
The engagement sessions are meant to foster deeper engagement; an awareness and understanding of the issues at hand, both within and beyond the university community. Week 2 of the engagement sessions will round up and conclude outstanding faculty based events, discussions and workshops, and will begin taking the engagement sessions into the university residences.
You’re invited to participate and contribute to the unfolding discussions over the coming week. See below the link to the events schedule for the residence sessions.
Should you wish to organise an engagement session or host a discussion on funding free education with the planning group see below the details of whom to contact.
