IRTC commissioner nominations and other updates

This campus announcement aims to inform members of the University of Cape Town community about:

1. The IRTC chair’s call for commissioner nominations

Everyone at UCT has a chance to participate in the process of nominating commissioners for the Institutional Reconciliation and Transformation Commission (IRTC). Sipho Pityana, chair of the IRTC Steering Committee, urges you to familiarise yourself with the selection criteria and to nominate commissioners via your constituency representative, if you have not yet done so. Please remember that nominations close on 25 June.

2. The Jammie Shuttle timetable for upcoming exams

Mid-year exams take place from 26 June to 14 July 2017 at venues across campus. Necessary security measures will be in place to ensure that these exams go ahead without disruption. A big thank-you to all the colleagues who prepare each exam venue, invigilate during the exams and mark the papers afterwards.

We wish students good luck with their exams, a good rest during the vac, and safe travels away from and back to UCT.
