Mental health: economy, equality and access

The Alan J Flisher Centre for Public Mental Health (CPMH) will be hosting a panel discussion to engage with issues relating to the political, economic, occupational and sociological aspects of caring for the mental health of the nation.

Titled “Economy, Equality and Access to Mental Health”, the panel includes Professor Ashraf Kagee as chair (CPMH co-director at the University of Stellenbosch), Professor Katherine Sorsdahl (CPMH co-director at UCT), Ingrid Daniels (director of Cape Mental Health), Professor Lou-Marie Kruger (University of Stellenbosch), Joanne Hart and Lucie Byrne-Davis (University of Manchester), Dr Simone Honikman and Charlotte Mande Ilunga (CPMH at UCT) and Sumaiyah Docrat (CPMH at UCT).

The discussion takes place at the Baxter Theatre from 10:00 to 12:00 on Tuesday, 3 October. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
