Ekso suit gives disabled patients new hope

Robert Evans, a PhD candidate in exercise science and sports medicine at UCT, explains the benefits of the ekso suit, a mobility device used in physical rehabilitation.

The suit, controlled by a trained operator, is used in rehabilitation programmes around the world. It stabilises patients' joints and helps strengthen weakened muscles.
