In remembrance: Megan Thebus

We write to share with you the sad news of the unexpected passing of one of our students, Ms Megan Thebus (19), on Monday, 20 August 2018, after a short illness.
Ms Thebus was a first-year student studying towards a Diploma in Music Performance at the South African College of Music in the Faculty of Humanities. She was an exceptionally talented music student and gifted double bass player.
Her funeral service will take place on Saturday, 1 September 2018 at 10:00 in the New Apostolic Church, Retreat East Congregation.
She is survived by her parents, brother and sister. The university has reached out to the family to offer support in this time of bereavement.
Our sincere condolences go out to Ms Thebus’ family, friends, peers and all who knew her.
