In remembrance: Ntando Yaka

We write to express our sadness following the untimely passing of one of our students, Ntando Yaka (25), on Monday, 17 December 2018.
Mr Yaka was a master’s student in Datascience in the Department of Statistical Sciences, Faculty of Science.
He has been described as a humble, respectful and hardworking student.
His funeral service will take place on Monday, 24 December 2018 in Springs, Johannesburg. He is survived by his parents Mr and Mrs Selepe and three brothers Xolani, Asanda and Sibusiso.
The university has reached out to the family to offer support in this time of bereavement.
Our sincere condolences go out to Mr Yaka’s family, friends, peers and all who knew him.
