In remembrance: Sharon Ward

It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Mrs Sharon Ward (56), who died on the evening of 25 July 2019.
At the time of her passing, Mrs Ward was a block-booking and sales liaison contact at the Baxter Theatre Centre. She joined the centre on an ad hoc basis in 2003 and was later offered a contract due to her efficiency and professionalism, and especially her ability to build relationships.
She has been described by colleagues as a caring, kind and generous person who had a gift for dealing with people. She will be sorely missed by her colleagues, family, friends and many people outside of the Baxter Theatre Centre.
Mrs Ward is survived by her husband, Keith, daughter Tanielle, mother and sister.
The funeral will take place at 09:00 on Saturday, 3 August 2019, at the Calvary Sanctuary,14 Exeter Road, Wittebome.
Memorial arrangements are being finalised and will be communicated by the Baxter Theatre Centre.
The university has reached out to offer support to the Ward family, and our sincere condolences go out to them and all who knew Mrs Ward.
