This campus announcement aims to inform members of the University of Cape Town (UCT) community about:
1. Exam results
Final exam results will be available on PeopleSoft self-service on 17 December after the Faculty Exams Committees and Senate Executive Committee have finalised results and qualifiers.
2. Annual Dr Stuart John Saunders Lecture
Dr Solomon Benatar, Emeritus Professor of Medicine at UCT, will present the second edition of the annual Dr Stuart John Saunders Lecture on 27 November at the New Learning Centre Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Health Sciences. This year’s lecture is titled: “Health, healthcare and professionalism in the 21st century”. Dr Benatar’s work is focused on the structure and funding of healthcare services in South Africa, human rights, bioethics and the political economy of global health.
3. NSFAS closing date for 2020 applications
With just over a week left to apply for funding to study for 2020, the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has called on prospective students to visit any of the agency offices that provide facilities for them to submit their applications. The offices are listed on the NSFAS website. The closing date for applications is 30 November 2019.
