UCT legacy project honours Bongani Mayosi

On Tuesday, 28 January, on the anniversary of his birthday, colleagues, family and friends honoured the late Professor Bongani Mayosi with a bibliography, an inaugural lecture and the renaming (and future renovations) of the University of Cape Town’s Health Sciences Library, which will now be known as the Bongani Mayosi Health Sciences Library.

Other future elements of the legacy project will include the Mayosi Research Collaborative, the Bongani Mayosi Foundation, and a permanent exhibition of his work.
