Reporting on violence against children, free online training

The Children’s Institute at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and Media Monitoring Africa invite you to apply to attend the free online training on reporting on violence against children.

This online training is loaded with valuable information on editorial and ethical guidelines, the law, and has a special focus on the hidden experiences of child sexual violence during COVID-19.

The training will cover:

• Insights into the nature and extent of sexual violence against children
• How to ensure children’s voices are represented ethically and safely
• Changes in risk and protective factors due to COVID-19.
