As South Africa remembers the tragic events of 15 and 16 October 1985, when forces of the apartheid government took the lives of five youths, and injured more, four members of the UCT community reflect on what happened 35 years ago. Senior photographer Lerato Maduna also visited the Trojan Horse Memorial in Athlone and Crossroads in Nyanga to pay homage to these spaces, which should never be forgotten.
