Baxter Back on Stage

Baxter Back on Stage with Gregory Maqoma and Zolani Mahola celebrated the Baxter Theatre Centre’s return to live performances under lockdown Level 1 and served as a benefit fundraiser aimed at helping recover the loss of income over the past six months.

Championed by Vice-Chancellor Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng, the new production featuring Gregory Maqoma and Zolani Mahola, two of South Africa’s internationally revered artists, shared the theatre stage in an exclusive limited season, which ran from 3 to 7 November 2020.
