A message from honorary doctorate recipient Prof James Midgley
15 December 2020 | Video edit Oatmeal Productions.The University of Cape Town conferred the degree Doctor of Letters (honoris causa) upon international social welfare scholar Professor James Midgley during a virtual graduation ceremony on 15 December 2020. An alumnus of UCT, he in turn endowed a scholarship for postgraduate students in the social sciences as a way of expressing his gratitude.
