In remembrance: Nopinki Duba

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our colleague, Ms Nopinki Duba (47), on Tuesday, 5 April 2022.
Ms Duba joined the university on 7 June 2001 and worked as a campus cleaner in the Properties and Services (P&S) team.
She will be missed by her colleagues, family and friends, who have described her as a humble and friendly person.
She is survived by daughters Asanele and Nasiphi Duba, her sister Thumeka Moila Duba and her brother Masakhane Duba.
Her funeral was held in Engcobo in the Eastern Cape on Saturday, 16 April 2022.
The university has reached out to offer support to the Duba family and during this time of bereavement our sincere condolences go out to them and all who knew and loved Ms Duba.
