UCT Council to consider Chair’s notice of resignation

Dear colleagues and students

The University of Cape Town (UCT) has noted media reports on the resignation of the Chair of Council.

This matter is receiving the urgent attention of the UCT Council. A special meeting will therefore be scheduled as soon as practically possible for Council to consider this matter.

Any further updates will be shared as may be necessary once the Council meeting has been held.
