Road closures on upper campus

The University of Cape Town (UCT) Traffic Services alerts the university community that due to a burst water pipe on Madiba North, access to Madiba West is currently restricted. The road will be closed for the entire week (10–14 February 2025), and commuters will only be able to gain vehicle access to Madiba West via the south side (Wynberg end).
Repairs are underway, and the work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the week. Signage is in place to guide commuters, and traffic officers will be on duty in the vicinity of the closure.
However, the UCT community is advised that no UCT Shuttle routes are affected. Buses will run as scheduled and stop at both North and South stops.
