In remembrance: Elliot Visser

It is with deep sorrow that we share with you the passing of one of our students, Ms Elliot Visser, on Saturday, 11 August 2018, following a short illness.
Ms Visser was a first-year student studying towards a Bachelor of Social Science degree in archaeology and sociology in the Faculty of Humanities.
There will be a memorial service at Fuller Hall this evening, Monday, 13 August 2018, at 18:00.
The funeral service will take place at the Jewish Cemetery, Pinelands, on Tuesday, 14 August 2018. Both services are open to all.
The university has reached out to the family to offer support during this time of grief.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ms Elliot’s family, friends, colleagues and all who knew her.
