30 October 2015 Today, 30 October 2015, the Senate Executive Committee, meeting with chairs of faculty student councils and representatives of the Academics Union, agreed the following: The examinations that were scheduled to run from Tuesday, 27 October, will now run from Tuesday, 10 November 2015 to Friday, 27 November 2015. The exception to this will be for Health Sciences undergraduates, whose examinations will start on Monday, 9 November 2015. This examination timetable will follow the same sequence as the final published timetable for examinations starting on 27 October; the detailed timetable is available here. Undergraduate students (except those in the Health Sciences, and excepting crit and practical examinations in Architecture (BAS) Dance, Drama, Music and Fine Art) will be offered the choice to defer their entire set of November exams to a new exams period from 11 January to 25 January 2016; students will be able to do this using a PeopleSoft self-service function, and will receive a notice about this early next week, and this will contain full details. The standard process for seeking deferment of individual exams will be available. Sincerely Hugh Amoore Registrar 30 October 2015 |
