Farewell to Dr Max Price
The entire University of Cape Town community bids a final warm farewell to the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Dr Max Price, whose term of office comes to an end on 30 June. It has been a remarkable and commendable decade at the helm for Dr Price. He has steadfastly led our institution through exceptionally complex times that have seen a sea change in South Africa’s higher education landscape. After 10 years of his leadership, we have much to celebrate at UCT and much to congratulate him for.
Price bids farewell to PASS forum
Vice-Chancellor Dr Max Price attended his last PASS forum as head of the university, and expressed his thanks to staff for putting the university first.

Student farewell for VC Dr Max Price
A student farewell function to mark the culmination on 30 June of Dr Max Price’s 10-year term of office was hosted in Memorial Hall on 21 May.
