UCT Libraries apologises for any disruptions caused by the creation of a new 24/7 study facility in the Health Sciences Library.

The Health Sciences Library will be creating a 24/7 study facility for 60 health sciences students with the space doubling up as a fully equipped training and event space during the day.

In addition to this, the Helen Brown Reading Room will be refurbished to include a six-seater seminar room for student and staff use.

Disruptions should be expected during this period and UCT Libraries apologises for any inconvenience that the renovations might cause.

The entrance to the Health Sciences Library will be temporarily moved to Level 5, which is accessible via the bridge. Quiet study space is available on Level 8.

The starting date for this project is Monday, 13 November, and it will be concluded in February 2018.
