“You must stand for truth,” Pillay tells graduands

The second Faculty of Engineering & the Built Environment April 2018 graduation ceremony took place on Friday, 6 April.

Manglin Pillay, the Chief Executive Officer of The South African Institute of Civil Engineering, was the guest speaker at the afternoon ceremony.

He talked to graduands about the importance of courage and ethics, and reminded them to aspire to wisdom instead of only relying on their formal education and qualifications.
