UCT welcomes Sign Language as SA’s 12th official language

June Bothma, a Deaf staff member who teaches South African Sign Language (SASL) to third-year audiology and speech therapy students in the Faculty of Health Sciences, expresses her gratitude following the announcement of SASL as the country’s 12th official language.
