Scholars from South Africa, India, Brazil and UK met at UCT's Children's Institute recently.
The 10-day programme formed part of a Leverhulme-funded academic network to deepen theoretical approaches to the concept of children's participation, which is believed to have been prominent in the policy and practice of governments and non-governmental organisations over the past decade.
