In 2021 the University of Cape Town (UCT) saw yet another year of excellence, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, which interrupted every part of our lives. The runaway Table Mountain Fire also impacted our operations and destroyed important archives. But we pulled through and ensured the academic programme continues uninterrupted. With COVID-19 lockdown regulations relaxed, we slowly returned to campus, even hosting some events in a hybrid fashion.
