UCT Staff Awards 2024

On Wednesday, 27 November, Vice-Chancellor Professor Mosa Moshabela will host the UCT Staff Awards 2024, which serve to honour and celebrate exceptional individuals at UCT for their contributions through excellence and dedication in research, teaching and service.

The celebration acknowledges staff receiving Long Service Awards and the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Awards. Awards being presented at this year’s event include the UCT Book Award, Meritorious Book Prize, Creative Works Award, Meritorious Creative Works Award, Fellowship Award and Social Responsiveness Award. The evening also hails staff members who have received ad hominem promotions that will take effect at the beginning of 2025.
