Walking the talk: Former ANC MP Pregs Govender at the AGI's panel discussion.

The African Gender Institute (AGI) hosted a panel discussion to commemorate International Women's Day on March 8.

At the talk, titled Perils and Promises: Reflections on Living Feminist Politics, Ugandan legislator Winnie Byanyima and researcher, activist and AGI research fellow Pregs Govender, a former ANC member of parliament, recounted some of their experiences as feminist politicians working in government.
