Rugby: FNB UCT First XV slipped from second to third on the log after their 17-29 defeat to Hamiltons on 12 May. They now trail behind Super League log-leaders Maties and SK Walmers. It was UCT's second consecutive loss after three early-season wins.

Hockey (Men): UCT A beat UCT B 4-0, putting them fourth on the WP Grand Challenge log behind Pinelands. UCT B now find themselves in the second-from-bottom spot behind Durbanville and ahead of Fish Hoek, who are yet to score a point.

Hockey (Women): UCT A are fifth on the log after drawing 1-1 with Pinelands A. UCT B were thrashed 0-14 by Stellenbosch A, and are at the bottom of the log with no points.
