Join Green Week 2022

It’s that time of the year again. The Green Campus Initiative (GCI) is calling on all eco-conscious students and staff at the University of Cape Town (UCT) to go green and join Green Week 2022. The festivities kick off with #GreenTuesday on campus today [19 April] and conclude on Sunday, 24 April.
The GCI is a student-led organisation committed to addressing issues of sustainability on campus and building an environmentally friendly institution for all to enjoy. Green Week is one of the highlights on the GCI’s calendar and its largest annual awareness campaign dedicated to environmental sustainability.
This year the organisation has once again pulled out all the stops with a highly impressive event programme that’s guaranteed to be informative and loads of fun. The line-up includes a sunset yoga and meditation session, a round table discussion on climate change, a ‘trashion’ show and compost workshop and loads more.
