Support for Supercare

The UCT Workers Support Committee expressed their concerns about the working conditions of Supercare employees at a meeting on the Jameson Steps on Monday, August 11. Supercare workers at UCT appealed to students to show their support around the issue of fair labour practices, saying that without the students the university would not exist. The demonstration was to make the university community aware of the workers and the conditions under which they work.
