THE HEALTH Sciences Faculty recently hosted the biannual meeting of its alumni association, the Barnard Fuller Society, where old friends and colleagues get together to reminisce and enjoy some good food.
The Society convenes twice a year to thank those medical alumni who have made bequests in their wills in favour of the Faculty. Since its inception in 1995, the BFS has contributed funds to a number of projects at the Medical School, including the extensions to the Medical Library.
A feature of the luncheons is a talk by a guest speaker, a service this year rendered by Dr Louis Babrow who spoke on The End of World War II - a visit to Berlin and Hitler's Bunker.
